Hy-Vee Triathlon

Amateurs and Professionals swam, ran and biked despite rainy, muddy conditions in the fourth annual ITU Hy-Vee Triathlon.

Tim Don (UK) and Emma Snowhill (Australia) both took home $200k as the winners in the Elite Cup race. Don crossed the line in 1:50:20, and Snowhill finished in 1:59.34, for her second victory and a course record.

In the amateur race was shortened to a sprint due to threats of heavy rain. Christine Anderson (Chicago) won the women’s race in 1:02:52. Gavin Anderson of (Edwardsville, IL), finished on top for the men in 00:55: 27.
