Polar Plunge: Des Moines Winter Games

It takes a whole lot of guts, and at least little bit of crazy to willingly jump into an icy lake on a frigid 15° Iowa Evening.  There were a few second thoughts, but all the participants made the leap and could still feel their toes afterwards. Just as the last several years, the plunge took place at Sleepy Hollow Sports Park as part of the Des Moines Winter Games
